Not just convenient.
Actually effective.
I want to address the elephant in the virtual room: Does online therapy actually work?
The short answer is yes - and the research is unambiguous about it.
Multiple large-scale studies have found that virtual therapy produces outcomes equivalent to in-person care for most conditions, including anxiety, depression, insomnia, stress, and relationship difficulties.
For many clients, it works even better - because being in a familiar, private space makes it easier to open up.
What online therapy with me looks like in practice:
-
You receive a secure video link before each session.
-
You join from wherever you have privacy and a stable connection - your home office, your living room, your car in a parking lot if that's what works that day.
-
Sessions are 50 minutes. The conversation is the same one we'd be having in person. The results tend to be too.
For Ontario residents specifically, virtual therapy also solves a real access problem.
Virtual therapy is sometimes called telehealth therapy - regardless of the term, the research shows it works.
Whether you're in downtown Toronto or a smaller community like Sudbury, North Bay, Kingston, or Owen Sound, geography is no longer a barrier to working with a psychologist whose approach is the right fit for you.

You don't need a crisis to reach out.
Most of the adults I work with are functioning - sometimes exceptionally well - but carrying something that has become too heavy or too persistent to keep managing alone.
Maybe it's anxiety that hums quietly in the background of everything you do.
Maybe it's a relationship that keeps hitting the same wall.
Maybe you haven't slept properly in months, or you've run yourself into the ground and can't find your way back.
Maybe you've tried therapy before, and it didn't quite fit.
Whatever it is, if it's getting in the way of living the life you want, it's worth taking seriously.
I work with adults across Ontario - from Ottawa to Windsor, Hamilton to Thunder Bay - offering personalized, evidence-based therapy in English and French.
Who I treat
I offer sessions in both English and French, and I work with adults across all of Ontario - virtually, from wherever you are.

Built for the way Ontarians actually live.
One of the most common things I hear from new clients is some version of:
"I kept putting it off because I didn't know how I'd fit it in."
Virtual therapy removes most of the friction that makes "getting help" feel like one more thing on an already impossible list. There's no drive across town. No parking. No sitting in a waiting room hoping you don't run into someone you know. There's just a 50-minute appointment that fits into your actual schedule - early morning, lunch hour, evening - on a device you already own.
For couples, it also solves the logistical puzzle of two people with two schedules finding the same window. You can join from the same room or from two separate locations. The session happens either way.
This isn't a compromise on quality.
It is, for most people, an upgrade on access.

Getting started is simpler than you think.
All sessions are virtual.
All you need is a private space anda device with a camera.

STEP 1 - Book a Free 15-Minute Call
A relaxed, no-pressure conversation by phone or video. You tell me what's going on. I tell you how I work. Together we figure out if it makes sense to take a next step. No commitment, no fee.

STEP 2 - We Build a Plan Together
Your first sessions are about understanding your situation fully - what's happening, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping for. There's no rush to "fix" anything before we understand it.

STEP 3 - Things Start to Shift
Change in therapy is rarely dramatic and sudden. It tends to be gradual, cumulative, and real. Most clients begin to notice meaningful differences within the first several sessions - more clarity, less reactivity, a growing sense of moving forward rather than going in circles.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Is online therapy covered by insurance in Ontario?
A: Many extended health benefit plans cover services from a registered psychologist. I recommend checking your plan directly. I provide official receipts for reimbursement after each session.
Q: Do I need any special technology for virtual sessions?
A: No. If you can make a video call, you can do online therapy. Sessions are conducted over a secure, confidential platform. A stable internet connection and a private space are all you need.
Q: Is online therapy available across all of Ontario?
A: Yes. I am registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario and offer services to adults anywhere in the province - whether you're in Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, London, Kingston, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, or anywhere in between.
Q: Do you offer therapy in French?
A: Oui, absolument. I am fully bilingual and offer sessions entirely in French, entirely in English, or a combination - whatever works best for you.
Q: What if I've tried therapy before and it didn't help?
A: That's one of the most common things I hear - and one of the most important. Sometimes it's the fit, sometimes the approach. I'd invite you to book a discovery call and we can talk through what's happened before and whether my approach might land differently.
Q: How soon can I get an appointment?
A: I typically have availability within a few weeks. A discovery call is the fastest way to find out current openings.
