Initiation to or deepening of mindulness practices in everyday life
Service Description
These individual sessions are offered to individuals seeking to learn about or deepen already-established mindfulness practices. These sessions combine a 'talk-therapy' component to help us determine underlying sources of stress or suffering, and identify mal-adaptive coping/thinking/behavoural patterns. The sessions also introduce mindfulness foundations, attitudes and applied exercises to help individuals develop and strengthen awareness and tools for resilience and peace. Mindulness practice benefits are far-reaching and include reduction of stress and anxiety, improved pain management, protection from depression relapse, improved awareness and 'control' of problematic thinking and behavioural patterns, and clearer thinking and focus.
